A Note from Our Newest Practitioner!

Greetings Everyone!

Since starting at Selby Acupuncture two months ago, it’s been a whirlwind. I’ve already learned so much from my wonderful colleagues and all the new faces that come through our door. Now that the holidays are here, I have a little extra time to properly introduce myself.

I earned my Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, something I hold in common with each of the acupuncturists at our clinic. One reason I relocated to the Twin Cities is for the school. The other reason is that Grace, my partner for nine years, is from Minneapolis.

I first met her during my undergraduate education at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine. It was here that I also studied under Dr. John Visvader, who taught me to bridge my love of philosophy with everyday life. Dr. Visvader took me under his wing and taught me Taiji and Qi Gong after class. Before I had even considered Chinese medicine as a career, I was internalizing its principles on Mount Desert Island.

All of this lead to me joining the team at Selby Acupuncture, and I couldn’t be happier. Every week I look forward to meeting new people and helping them achieve their wellness goals. I value each and every patient, and I have a special passion for working with sleep issues and relieving symptoms of menopause. If I haven’t met you yet, I hope I will soon!
