New Year, New Benefits? Check your Insurance for Important Changes:
For many people, the upcoming new year signals new or renewing health insurance plans. We encourage everyone to review their plan documents or contact their plan administrator to determine whether your plan covers acupuncture.
- UCare Update:
- On Nov. 17, 2025, Medica and UCare announced a definitive agreement for Medica to acquire certain contracts and assets of UCare
- If you currently have Ucare insurance, watch for notifications regarding your coverage. Contact member services with any questions. If your provider changes or you are instructed to select a new provider, Selby Acupuncture is in network with HeathPartners but currently we are not in network with Medica.
- Flexible spending accounts:
- As a reminder, services can be paid for with your HSA/FSA funds. Check your account for specific information on which services and products may be eligible.
Let’s fill that basket! The Pajama Program continues…
Good nights lead to good days, but our basket is looking a bit empty…let’s fill it up for those kiddos! We are grateful and excited once again to be able to support Beyond Bedtime (formally the Pajama Program) Through December 20th
Bring in new children’s pajamas and storybooks, and they will be delivered for youth living in shelters, group homes, and temporary housing. Because of our generous donors, numerous Twin Cities children will stay warm and be able to enjoy a bedtime story during these chilly nights.
A huge THANK YOU to anyone willing and able to participate! Last year we collected a record amount, and this year we are hoping to beat that number!
We appreciate you!
Last month we celebrated 18 years since we first opened doors in the St. Paul. What better way to celebrate this anniversary than to say Thank You to our patients! Helping you to feel better helps us to feel better too. Your trust, kindness, and help in spreading the word about the work we do has allowed us to help many others and create healing in our community. In the spirit of celebrating the thousands of acupuncture and massage treatments from over the years we were able to give out some stones (who out there doesn’t love a crystal), some treats (dark chocolate is actually an antioxidant and is very healthy…), and drawings for gift baskets full of surprises.
