Root & Restore is a 60-minute, one-on-one appointment designed for moments when you want to go deeper, more time to explore what’s going on, more tools in play, and more space to work with the full breadth of Chinese medicine.
Chinese medicine is a complex, deep and complete system. And some of the most powerful healing happens when we have the time and space to use all of it.
The name reflects the approach. Root is where we start: understanding the bigger picture and what’s actually driving what you’re experiencing. Restore is where we go: drawing on the full toolkit of Chinese medicine to support meaningful, lasting change.
Each session is shaped around what you need that day and may include any combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, tuina, qigong or meditation practices, dietary and lifestyle guidance, stones, or essential oils. Each is chosen because it fits, not to fill time, and many require more space to do well.
Root & Restore isn’t meant to replace regular acupuncture visits, it’s a different kind of appointment for different moments. Some may choose to use these sessions during a particularly important season of healing, then continue with shorter visits for ongoing support and maintenance. Others may prefer to work this way more consistently. We’ll decide together what makes sense for you.
These visits are intentionally spacious. Some days we may spend more time talking and understanding patterns. Other days may focus more on hands-on treatment, herbs, bodywork, or restorative practices. The goal is not to fit you into a protocol, but to meet you where you are.
Tailored support for those navigating specific phases of recovery and personal growth.
Over nearly two decades of practice, I’ve continued to learn and expand into the depths of Chinese medicine; herbs, moxa, qigong, meditation, bodywork, and the many ways Chinese medicine supports healing beyond acupuncture alone. Root & Restore is how I bring all of that together in a single, unhurried visit.
Some of the most meaningful moments I’ve had with patients over the years haven’t happened during the needles.
They’ve happened in the conversations where we took the time to understand what was really going on. When we connected symptoms that didn’t seem related. When we talked about stress, hormones, sleep, grief, food, burnout, a new and sometimes frightening diagnosis, or the quiet feeling that something in the body just isn’t working the way it used to. That deeper kind of care is what inspired Root & Restore, a more comprehensive Chinese medicine visit.
If you’ve worked with me before, you already know I love learning. Over the years, my work has expanded far beyond acupuncture alone. That medicine, the full expression of it, is what I’ve always wanted to offer. And I’m finally building a practice around it.
I’m so looking forward to offering this. If it sounds like something that might be right for you, reach out, you can sign up here. I’d love to work with you.
