Once again we would like to express our appreciation to all of you! We hope you enjoyed the free gifts we handed out last month and two lucky people were the recipients of this year’s Selby Acupuncture Gift Baskets!

Lets fill that basket! The Pajama Program continues…

Good nights lead to good days, but our basket is looking a bit empty…let’s fill it up for those kiddos!  We are grateful and excited once again to be able to support Pajama Program.  Through Dec 15th, bring new pajamas and books with you to your next appointment, we will collect them and through the The Pajama Program they will be given to children who are facing adversity.  Last year we collected a record amount, and this year we are hoping to beat that number!

New Year, New Benefits?  Check your Insurance for Important Changes

For many people, the upcoming new year signals new or renewing health insurance plans. We encourage everyone to review their plan documents or contact their plan administrator to determine whether your plan covers acupuncture.

• If you have coverage with one of the networks Selby Acupuncture participates- HealthPartners, Cigna, UCare or MHCP: Let any of our patient care coordinators at the front desk know! They will be happy to also research benefits and walk you through what you might expect, such as covered conditions, benefit limits and out of pocket costs.
  • If we are continuing to bill the same insurer for you in 2025, please notify the front desk of any plan changes, such as new ID or Group numbers. This will help prevent delays in claim processing.
• If you have coverage with another insurer not listed above: Never fear! You may still be eligible for reimbursement. Check your plan to determine whether you have out of network acupuncture coverage. If so, our team can provide you with itemized receipts to submit for reimbursement.
• If you are currently one of our self-pay patients: Still check those benefits! Some of our patients have been surprised to discover that acupuncture coverage was added to their plan.

As a reminder, services can be paid for with your HSA/FSA funds. Check your account for specific information on which services and products may be eligible.
