We love celebrating the work our team is doing—not just inside the clinic, but out in the wider world of Chinese medicine. Here’s a quick update on what Dr. Julie McCormick and Dr. Brian Grosam have been up to lately.
Last weekend, Dr. Julie McCormick gave a fantastic presentation at the Great River Symposium, one of the Midwest’s leading conferences for acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Her talk focused on integrative care and the role Chinese medicine can play in supporting modern healthcare.
It was a great opportunity to share insights with fellow practitioners—and we’re so proud to see her work being recognized by the broader TCM community.
Later this month, Dr. Brian Grosam is headed to Rothenburg, Germany, where he’ll be presenting at the TCM Kongress—one of the largest and most respected Chinese medicine conferences in the world.
His talk will focus on current research and clinical applications in acupuncture and herbal therapy. It’s a huge honor, and we’re thrilled to see him representing Selby Acupuncture on such a global stage.
And finally, both Dr. McCormick and Dr. Grosam will be heading back to Yo San University in Los Angeles this May to teach in the doctoral program. As longtime educators and mentors, they’re excited to continue working with the next generation of acupuncture and Chinese medicine professionals.
