Facial rejuvenation acupuncture has been used for centuries and is deeply rooted in Chinese Medicine. This style of acupuncture benefits patients by amplifying their own natural beauty, nourishing overall skin health, decreasing severity of skin conditions, and preventing wrinkles and premature aging.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Skin health and appearance comes from within. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture focuses both on the outside and inside by addressing the root cause of your concern. Our acupuncturists will also address your nutrition, prescribe herbs, and various other methods to support you on your skin health journey.

Facial Rejuvenation treatment is very well tolerated and is designed to be relaxing throughout the entire treatment process. During your treatment ultra thin hair size needles are gently inserted into the skin of the face, scalp, or neck. This stimulates collagen and elastin production by creating a microtrauma to the tissue. Additionally facial rejuvenation acupuncture decreases inflammation, redness, and increases blood flow to the area of concern. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is helpful in reducing the severity of skin conditions such as acne, acne scarring, rosacea flare ups, dark circles, and general puffiness. In combination with acupuncture we use other therapies to enhance the total effect including LED light therapy, cupping, guasha, herbs, and nutrition.

It is recommended that the patient receives 10 treatments over the course of 5-10 weeks to have the best results. To maintain results we suggest this course of treatments to be repeated 2 times a year. It is acceptable to come in on an as needed basis during a skin flare up or for more acute conditions.

Along with acupuncture, we use LED light therapy during your treatment to assist in the treatment goals. LED light therapy uses different wavelengths or colors of light to penetrate the skin. This type of light therapy has been shown to reduce mild-moderate acne, boost collagen production, speed wound healing, and reduce inflammation.
