It is such a pleasure to be calling Selby Acupuncture home.

I received my Masters in Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, in 2006 and have been practicing ever since. The majority of my experience has been in the areas of fertility and reproductive health, although I have treated a wide variety of conditions, including chronic pain, emotional issues, the sides effects of chemotherapy, and pediatric conditions.

I was recently asked what I enjoy about being an acupuncturist. To be honest, it is because I get to see transformation occur in people’s lives on a daily basis. Sometimes these transformations appear almost miraculous — seeing stroke patients take their first steps, having a patient who was told they cannot get pregnant conceive. Sometimes these transformations are more subtle (although no less profound) — working with a chronic pain patient who can now not only walk without a cane but also work out at the gym. We all have our path and no outcome is ever guaranteed, but I am constantly humbled by the power of the medicine I get to practice and grateful to the patients who allow me to be a part of their journey.
