Spring is here in full force.  Leaves are popping, spring flowers are blooming, and warmth and life has returned to our part of the world.   We are here to help with whatever ails you so you can get out and enjoy all that springtime has to offer!  Here are a few resources and suggestions to guide you on your way.

Appointment notifications

If you are not currently getting notifications for your appointments please let us know and we can check to see if we have an incorrect email address on file for you.

Text Notifications? When you set up your initial account the default setting is to opt out of text (SMS) notifications. If you decide that getting them would make your life easier you can opt in for them through your portal account. Feel free to ask the Patient Care Coordinator at the front desk if you have questions or problems setting this up.

Spring is a busy time!

Our schedules tend to get a bit busier this time of year.  We want to  make sure you are able to get an appointment that works best for your schedule, so be sure to book a few weeks ahead so you can get a time that works best for you.

Did you know we have a cancellation list?

We often have last minute openings, especially when things get busier.  Have you had trouble finding an appointment time that works for you?  Give us a call and let us know you would like to be added to our cancellation list.  When an appointment opens up, we will reach out, see if it works for you and get you scheduled. Even if you are on the list it would be a good idea to periodicly check availability online incase something opens up before we can get in touch with you.

Spring can also bring some common ailments and we want to help!

Springtime allergies:  Along with the beautiful flowers and the return of the robins, springtime allergies have started to show up.  Talk to your practitioner about allergy relief.  There are some great herbal medicine options to help mitigate allergy symptoms.  Chinese medicine offers allergy sufferers a way to strengthen their bodies and reduce their symptoms, without unpleasant side effects.

Springtime stress: Whether its taxes, graduation, the time change or anxiety over what needs to be done we can all get a little overwhelmed and stressed, and it can tend to get a little worse this time of year.  Chinese medicine offers great options to help.  Talk to your practitioner about what they can do for you.

Thanks for choosing Selby Acupuncture to help you achieve your healthcare goals, we appreciate and honor your trust and partnership.  Have a great spring everyone!
