Blog

We can’t believe it, but it was 15 years ago that Selby Acupuncture first opened its doors. A lot has changed over the years, but what has never changed in all that time is the gratitude we have to be able to support you and the people you love on your paths to healing.

To show our love, we want to give you some small tokens of our gratitude.  Feel free to pick a stone and enjoy a chocolate truffle at your next appointment.*   And, anyone who comes in to visit us November 1- 15th will automatically be put into a drawing for a sweet little gift basket of goodies!

Chinese medicine has changed our lives, and we are so grateful to be able to share these tools with our community.  Thank you for your trust, your time, and for allowing us to be a part of your journey.

Pajama Program
Good Nights are Good Days

It’s that time of year again!  Selby Acupuncture is hosting a Pajama and Book Drive to support the Pajama Program.

Pajamas and books, two of our favorite things. Pajama Program is 501(c)3 non-profit that brings new, unused pajamas and storybooks to youth living in shelters, group homes and temporary housing.  Because of our generous community, we have been able to collect and donate hundreds of pajamas and books over the years, keeping Twin Cities children warm and enjoying a bedtime story on these chilly nights.

We will be collecting new pajamas and storybooks in our clinic through holiday season.  Don’t have a chance to bring something in?  Unsure of what to pick out?  Visit them online at Pajama Program to donate directly, find curated lists of books that celebrate diversity, or to learn about starting your own pajama/book drive.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this program in the past, and to everyone will be supporting it this year once again!

Fall in in the air!

Leaves are falling, it is dark when we wake in the morning, and as a very famous television show once said…winter is coming.

Your Selby team had a fun night enjoying gorgeous weather at Sociable Cider Werks this October. There was a great conversation, lots of laughter, and a pumpkin decorating contest!  One of our pumpkins did get some acupuncture (nice work Lindsay!), but sadly, that pumpkin did not win the popular vote of his peers.  So who won?  Next time you are in you can congratulate Sarah and Kathy, who tied for first.  But really, we are all winners, right?!
